When used with our BCA, this is a sensitive test for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in breath and air. Samples are collected with a breath collection apparatus (BCA) and assayed in the laboratory with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The most abundant VOCs detected in breath and air are ranked according to their percentage of the total VOCs in the sample.
